Tinju Thomas is a Corporate Commercial Lawyer qualified to practise in Ontario and India, with over a decade of legal experience. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.

Tinju advises entrepreneurs, corporations, investors, charities, and not-for-profit organizations on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, commercial agreements, shareholder arrangements, corporate governance, and general business advisory. She also assists clients with succession planning and estate matters.

Known for her practical, business-focused approach, Tinju works closely with clients to provide clear, strategic legal advice that supports their long-term goals. Her experience advising businesses ranging from startups to multinational organizations enables her to deliver solutions that are both commercially sound and legally effective.

Tinju is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. She has served in leadership roles as Secretary of the Business Law Section and CPD Liaison for the Not-for-Profit and Charity Law Section.

Beyond her legal practice, Tinju is committed to serving her community through volunteer leadership, supporting charitable initiatives, and contributing to organizations that make a meaningful social impact.
