About Miako

Tinju Thomas is a Corporate Commercial Lawyer with over a decade of experience, qualified to practice in both India and Ontario. She holds a Master of Laws degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, as well as supporting not-for-profit organizations, charities, and churches. She also advises clients on succession planning and estate matters, helping them structure their businesses and prepare wills to ensure long-term continuity and peace of mind. 

Tinju brings a global, business-minded perspective to her work, shaped by her experience as external counsel to companies ranging from multinationals to startups. She is known for offering legal solutions grounded in practical realities and business strategy. In addition to her legal practice, she mentors internationally trained lawyers and is a frequent speaker at professional events. She is an engaged member of the Canada Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association and values contributing to a connected, forward-looking legal community.
